The green is rather isolated and as a result could attract vandalism as the posted warnings around the green suggest. This is exacerbated by the unkempt feeling of the green communicated by the deteriorating bandstand, the isolated nature of the Academy and the dense growth of the underbrush. Any paving or widening of Fitts Road might encroach on some of the graves close to the road and change the character of the green. Lot 36-b-5 has a 20 foot right-of-way over the green to Fitts Road, which, depending on future development, could directly impact the green.
