The Birdsey's Plain Green, located within the Birdsey's Plain Historic District, is a one-half acre triangular-shaped plot bordered by Main Street on the west, Green Street on the south and Pepper Street on the east. It is a bare, flat expanse planted with two spruce trees and a few deciduous trees including maple, dogwood and oak. One has been dedicated to William Tucker as indicated by a memorial plaque near its base. The focus of the green is a memorial to the veterans of World War One near the northern point. A flagpole and benches are also situated near the monument.
